Dogs with Wings is looking for about 65-70 energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to help out with the 50/50 raffle at the Edmonton Oilers hockey game vs. the Detroit Red Wings on Friday, March 19th.
On March 19th, game time is 7:00pm, so you will need to be at Rexall Place no later than 4:45pm. As per the guidelines (see attached), volunteers enter Rexall Place through the East Ramp Access Control / Security entrance. There is a vehicle ramp on the south east corner, between parking lots A & B, which the volunteers walk down and will see the door on the left hand side. Once inside the building, they will be asked to remain in a designated area until everyone has arrived at which point all volunteers will be ushered upstairs. This temporary waiting area is fairly small and not at all glamorous but due to the backstage activities coinciding with the volunteers arrival, it is for their own safety that they remain within this designated area. They will not be allowed back down to this area at any point in the night once they are taken upstairs to the 50/50 room. Washroom facilities will not be available until the volunteers are ushered upstairs. Please ensure you follow this entry and waiting procedure.
